EDIT YOUR PAGES ON THE COMPUTER

This is the start of my front cover, for this, I began by making the heading and made it a big size so it would cover the majority of the page and added a dropshadow to the photo.

This is my starting of the contents page, I made the title at first and added a slight dropshadow to make it stand out more and not look as flat on the page. I then inserted my photos into the page which I thought about using.

I then changed the pictures on the contents page and put them in a different layout.
Below here is my finished version of my first contents page. I didn't like this as there was too much space around each thing and the page didn't link well together.

This is the front cover progressed slightly. I inserted the picture and the main heading in the front cover which I added a slight dropshadow to the photo which made the heading stand out more.

This is my new version of my contents page, I redesigned it with a different layout. I used different pictures, and added a dropshadow to the title. Created a different colour for the page number and added a stroke around the photo so that it stood out from the main picture.

This is my contents page almost finished, which I then had added other photos too and page numbers above the photos, I then changed the font for the Editors Note so that it stood out slightly but didn't take the focus away from the pages.

This is my double page spread using quark, I inserted text boxes so that the article would fit into the boxes in coloumns, then linked them together so that the article would fit. To get the white text box below the heading, I inserted a text box and changed the opacity down slightly then wrote over it.

I then made a quote in red which stood out from the rest of the page, so it will draw us towards this and make people want to read into the article and what it's about.

This is my front cover which I started again. I inserted the photo and got that in the right place and then inserted a text box, making it red, wiuth the white font as the title. I then inserted a black text box above the title and photograph, as a banner. I also made the red font with the main cover story. I inserted text which made it white, and a barcode at the bottom right hand corner.

After doing this, I then added the rest of the text in which would be on the main page and a website address underneath the title.

Finally, I added the white text to the banner above the title.
